Celebrate Imbolc, the season of returning light and fresh beginnings, with a cozy, hands-on craft night inspired by Brigid, goddess of the hearth, creativity, and renewal.
A Brigid’s Cross is a traditional woven symbol, often made on the eve of Imbolc or Brigid’s Day (February 1) and hung in the home as a charm of protection and blessing for the year ahead. In keeping with this tradition, we’ll gather to create these together.
Using wheat stalks, you’ll learn how to weave your own Brigid’s Cross, decorate it if you wish, and take it home to hang wherever it feels right to you.
